Do I need a referral for an appointment?

No, you do not need a referral to see us or to claim for private health insurance. If you have consulted your GP regarding your condition and you have a referral, please remember to bring it with you. We will keep in touch with your doctor regarding your treatment and ongoing care. For WorkCover, Third Party, Medicare EPC or Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) claims, a doctor’s referral is required.

If you have any x-rays, scans or other reports and/or medical notes from specialists, it would be helpful to bring them.

How long are the appointments?

Initial appointments are 45 minutes. Our follow up appointments are 30 minutes as we find this is generally the most appropriate length of time. For more complex conditions or multiple injuries, longer appointments can be booked.
